It talks about dismantling the military industrial complex and reinvesting the massive, corrupt and unaccountable defense slush fund into industries like shipbuilding, which employ working people in Maine. This looks like you’re trying to find something to get upset about.
I’m searching online for “platner rebuild military” to try to figure out what you’re talking about. I’m seeing two kids of articles: the first about how Platner worked to “rebuild” his life after returning from combat and struggling with alcohol use and PTSD, and the second about how he wants to “be a strong voice in the senate against military adventurism.” Says he wants to expand the War Powers Act to make it harder for the President to wage arbitrary wars and also wants to withdraw troops from the Middle East. So I’m still not sure what you’re talking about.
I vote for politicians based on their policies not their “morals.” Morality is for losers anyway
