Very interesting. They say:

All your activity data is stored exclusively within the SIGMA RIDE app and remains private. You can decide for yourself whether you want to upload it to the SIGMA Cloud. You can save it there permanently so that you can access it if you lose your smartphone, for example.

I wonder if the data could be moved to a laptop/desktop without using Sigma cloud, or if there’s a proprietary lock-in to their phone app.

Thanks for all the ideas. Just stumbled on GoldenCheetah, which might be useful for analysis/visualization if I decide to keep the Garmin devices and grab the activity files by USB.
