About 60-70 hours I think. I know the author of the HP books is… a bit insane but I really loved the way Steven fry? Was narrating each character.

Technology@lemmy.world•Dell says the quiet part out loud: Consumers don't actually care about AI PCs — "AI probably confuses them more than it helps them"English
4·5 天前Local AI can be useful. But I would rather see nice implementations that used small but brilliantly tuned models for… let’s say better predictive text… it’s already somewhat AI based I just would like it to be. Better

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What's it going to take to truly stop the US?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What tool or website did you find this year that made your year?
2·11 天前I had issues before I swapped to reverse proxying on my own hardware. Before that it would drop the websocket? And just kneel over and abandon the group.
Yep in my country they are called “kanonslag” or if you direct translate it. Cannon slammers.
They can be so huge that you are more or less holding a DIY hand grenade. I really don’t get the idea. At least regular fireworks can be pretty

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What tool or website did you find this year that made your year?
7·12 天前I use it for streaming to my phone on the train to work.
It also has a really nice feature where it can sync between 2 or more people. Even when they choose 2 formats or audio tracks.
So for example if you and your friend wants to watch anime. You enjoy hearing Japanese and reading the subtitles but they prefer English dub. Well you can still sync up and watch (given your source has both Audio tracks)

For general “wow this is hella cool” it’s a mix up between Jellyfin and Nekoweb.
Jellyfin is a amazing media server that I have spent hours and hours upon now, building my local library buying DVDs and Blurays. It’s been… liberating.
Nekoweb is a host and index of indie websites and its lovely seeing people just code the most 2005 coated websites.

Yeah last I remember most of the books could be squeezed done in a week listening on comutes
