That’s such an oversimplifcation that it can just be dismissed as wrong. Here is someone who actually asked and didn’t just assume

“i dont like something but i see a lot of people around me talking about it, it must be bots” is such a common thought terminating cliche used to not have to engage with something further. if it were this many people talking one might have to reevaluate ones opinion but if it is bots it can be safely disregarded. its why so many people accuse “tankies” of being bots, if its unbelievable that something is a genuinely held an excuse is needed.
