That’s the thing, before you cite a national security threat to strip away a lot of peoples freedom there should be a credible threat to the security of your nation. Making it based on someones passport is just ineffectual as well. Just a “well they attacked them so it stands to reason they’ll get us next”. Why arent kazakhstan, turkmenistan etc reacting the same way? They should be more afraid since Russia would have a much easier fight against them I’m sure.
