it feels like a weird departure from previous eu policies protecting privacy and right to repair… i was really happy when the forced apple to have an alternative store, and forcing phone companies to have a universal charger…
as an american, i was jealous of a lot of these….

the whole “believe victims” thing is a trap… presenting a false dilemma to disbelieve or believe them….
but in a reasonable world, a victim’s testimony is evidence but not proof… evidence is enough to investigate and look for proof, and enough witnesses becomes as good as proof.
when you have someone as powerful as a president, there will always be a lot of liars… it’s just the law of large numbers, so the burden of proof becomes higher.
also, all reasonable people know that trump is a rapist and a pedophile by now, we just need proof to force people to admit it.
