6! No one else?

In a related vein, specifically scissors in blister packs. It’s like whoever made the decision to package scissors that way wanted to put more evil into the world.
Ahaha I knew this one, as a knitter. It’s a well-known superstition in knitting circles.
I’ve never made my husband a sweater but it’s because he runs hot and would never wear one anyway. I finally picked up sewing well after we were married and now I make him linen shirts instead.
If you’d like a recipe, this one is one of our favorites and my husband typically doesn’t like veggies at all. He loves it. (Please ignore that it comes from a meal kit service; this one doesn’t even use any custom spice blends so it’s easy to do on your own. We tried the kit thing slightly before and during COVID but have long since discontinued it.)

My friend describes this as vacation people vs trip people. My husband and I are definitely trip people generally, but with kids in the picture it’s nice to get an actual vacation (relaxing) in once in a while. But there’s so much in the world we want to see!

I did that to my husband in our 20s and 30s. Now in our 40s I can no longer tell which one it was that was rogue because there are too many competitors… we gave up.
Wait wait, are you saying it’s impossible to change people’s minds about cats, or impossible to change cats” minds?
I mean, maybe both lol

I’m primarily a fantasy reader. I never assume anything related to time or place, lol.

Because I respect my partner’s desire to see his parents? Grow a heart.

In all honesty, it’s a pretty limited silver lining considering people aren’t eating because of the shutdown. And my in-laws would probably blame democrats anyway. But at least they’d feel a modicum of suffering, not getting to see their son and grandchildren and all, because of their own voting patterns.

Oh, I’d be devastated.

What’re the odds on thanksgiving? Wondering if I’m going to miss out on visiting my right-wing in-laws.

It’s pretty garbage. I don’t trust the AI summary whatsoever. Just today I was trying to find out more information about something in a YouTube video, and it tried to tell me that no such thing existed when that’s what the YouTube video was literally documenting.
I know I need to de-google my life but I also know that it will take work and, well, inertia.

I’m a musician, and I like to write. I hate it. My husband uses it to help him code (I think; I have zero functional knowledge of his industry) and says it can be used in that capacity in certain ways.
The number of times I’ve heard peers say “I put this into chat gpt and it said…” makes me want to throw up. We think disinformation is bad now? We have no idea what’s coming.

Disclaimer: I know very little about stamps and ink; feel free to disregard me. But could it be used and/or meant for wax instead of ink?

Partially because I lived through it, the ‘89 earthquake. I specifically remember not having power and then everything turning back on after midnight and what the news looked like (more grainy than normal) because I was afraid of the dark and hadn’t been able to sleep.

Ouch I had a 4
Even my not-paid-off house is saving me money, since rent has continued increasing and my mortgage has not. I’d probably be paying at least twice in rent for this house as what my mortgage payment is. Bought it 12 years ago.
I’m a sucker for blue; 9 might be my favorite. 6 was yet more brown in a house full of brown and yellow. I’m an early 80s baby but my parents held on to the 70s as hard as they could, decor-wise.
