My limited understanding-

Companies have to pay a fee when someone makes a purchase with a credit card, so gas is generally slightly more expensive with credit card transactions vs cash (and maybe debit?).

If you pay with a debit card, you’re not borrowing money, so I guess it’s closer to cash than it is to credit. In my area, they don’t let you buy lottery tickets with credit cards but you can buy them with debit cards, which I suppose is a good thing. Not sure how gas prices are affected when you pay with debit.

It could be tricky to get the bag over it if it’s windy, you would need something on the end of your stick to hold the bag open.

You could also add some sort of adhesive to make it so the protective cover wouldn’t blow off from the wind. I mean, like, it would really be on there. Almost permanent, even.

I’m not surprised. Almost everything that you would assume does something in only one direction also does it in the other direction. LEDs generate a small amount of current when you shine a light on them, solar panels emit a small amount of infrared when you apply power to them, etc.

That seems like mostly an issue with aftermarket headlights, at least in my area

I don’t get it. Bright headlights bad? I have LED headlights and my car is fairly short, so I have a nice crisp beam of light that doesn’t get in people’s eyes. My current car has by far the best headlights I’ve ever had. I think BMW is/was using lasers for a while, I think? They didn’t seem that bright. I think there’s a pretty good amount of regulation that goes into headlights. Actual bad headlights are the ones on lifted trucks that engulf you in bright ass light through your mirrors.

I want to share this meme but I’m quite certain none of my friends would appreciate this one.
