Earlier on i was pretty convinced that the tarrif drama was a ruse they would constantly go back and forth on but at this point I don’t even know anymore man. I’m sure some of this will be rescinded or weaseled down like every other time but this is so extreme that they would need to take back almost all of this garbage to avert a catastrophe. From what I understand China is gonna go from 20 percent where it is now up to what like 44 percent or something? (“Reciprocal” tariff plus the base 10 percent that is going to apply to uh every country) and we have barely even started to see the impacts of the 20 percent like that alone was still gonna be bad

Maybe they really are just trying to collapse everything on purpose. The insurrection act is supposed to be recommended by the admin by April 20th maybe they just wanna put their feet back on the gas pedal now
