21·3 days agoI assume that by legitimate you mean western. I think I saw MSN commenting on it but the source is still Iran and as of now that is the only source. It certainly could be propaganda but considering the laundry fire, suicide attempts, fungal infections, extremely limited food (cup of rice and 2 slices of meat/day iirc), and stagnant musty water, I find it reasonable to at least believe there was a riot/brawl. Even if the death count is inflated.

I wish there was information on how the violence was directed. It is presented as if low ranking crew members just started scrapping with each other but I can’t understand why a brawl like this would start unless there was some severe factionalism among them. Wouldn’t it make more sense for violence to be directed at command? Especially considering it was started in response to the boarding of a military advisor.
