For content that needs censorship, I’m stumped on a suitable solution.

Peer tube?

Definitely not offended by the downvotes, I appreciate your conclusion.
I have trouble allowing myself to show anger, because it usually doesn’t help at all and I learned it can hurt a lot at a young age.
That said, I don’t think “show the other cheek,” when slapped by cruelty is the answer either. I was just trying to fish for an answer if anyone’s got one. We’ve got methods to enact change here, but it’s been a losing battle against cruelty and greed that’s been lost for all of history.
It’s definitely gotten better. I just wish we could focus the anger into the inlets that would do something here in America. Hold those in power accountable with more than their own corruptible conscious, end corporate campaign funding, have more meaningful conversations where we honestly try to find solutions to problems with transparency.
I’ll keep trying.

Is it an either/or, though? I’ve got both those thoughts at the same time.
As rational as it is to know it’s unacceptable, what IS the context? And how can we have proper distribution of just consequences?
And such a fitting username haha
Just curious, I appreciate most of your take as a random reader, but why does it seem like that’s not a healthy relationship between a father and son? The son’s capability of independence? Is it too soon after the break up, do you suspect the son might be overly dependent?
I think the questions you ask are useful in starting a conversation, I just wonder why it might seem unhealthy.

I think that must’ve been sarcasm

Agreed, I realize that. Just another bad idea I’m glad I worked out.

Agreed, just thinking out loud, quite stupidly haha.

What, everyone supporting a new party? Wasn’t there a book called Tipping Point? Why hasn’t it happened yet with that?
I just don’t see how we can change the process, same as you, by everyone suddenly changing their minds before Trump dies setting a precedent for a third term. There aren’t enough Mamdani’s out there.
Just shooting the shit dummy, not shitting on you.

What if we could give each citizen a crypto-signed coin at citizenship registry through citizenship tests or birth, it was required to be destroyed at death, and kept in line with an accurate population census?
Or do I just not understand crypto? Would they just be able to be hacked later as our algorithms improved? Or will the seemingly farther and farther invention of quantum computers (just like anything else that isn’t directly related to AI) be too much of a risk to rely on technology at all?
Idk man I just wish we could come up with some fair way to solve SOME things where the billionaire “meek” inherit the earth by delving into their bunkers and launching nukes… and I can’t seem to come up with any ideas. I’m tired.

As opposed to? Doing nothing? Voting to accelerate that process even faster? What do you think is going to happen next, now?

It’s all we’ve got

No good impact? Does publicity count for you, or nah? Do you really think killing a republican senator would have more of a positive impact? I truly wonder why.
Also, the idea that no one should act without clear results, which I can’t help but understand as some percentage level of guaranteed, is astounding. What would you EVER fight back for, as someone who couldn’t win alone and wasn’t sure others would back you up with? I’m genuinely curious, because I don’t think clear results matter that much to people with dug-in patterns that could use change that they haven’t tested and don’t trust others’ opinions of.
I really wonder, though, why you think killing a republican senator would do anything at all more than what Luigi did. Can you explain that for me? UH ceo stood for profits to those with lots of money and investments already existing(and much more fucked up shit I leave out), republican senators stand for…?

Point is there’s a spectrum of corruption and unfairness, and it’s getting worse. Guess you think the courts are perfectly fair and there’s no benefit to being rich? And I never said public opinion matters lol but fuck voting I guess, hooray for gerrymandering?

What matters is what’s true, and the courts ARE getting more compromised every day. The rich get punished less, that’s the way it’s always worked.
I guess this is where you took the most extreme possible opposing view and argued against that.

You’re generalizing the Luigi crowd how you see fit. The problem is the fact that corpos pay congressmen to increase profit margins, and CEOs are beholden to boards of directors within that. The problem is that both republicans and democratic senators and representatives are so easy to corrupt through citizens united and super pacs. The problem is that healthcare in America is overpriced and shitty.
The Luigi crowd isn’t the few people focused on their anger, they’re just the loudest. The Luigi crowd, to me, is the bill burr’s that see that Nestle CEO’s that want to hoard and sell rain DO deserve to be shot, or the system needs to change. I don’t pretend to know how, but when money is considered free speech, we end up here.
What about the Epstein list, and the clear evidence of Trump being closely associated with Epstein and Ghislaine?
I don’t think we need to police our neighbors, but when the police commit crimes, what’s the answer? When the authority fucks around, how can they find out? Corpos like united healthcare deny care to people based on their bottom line, and dole out huge amounts profits to the select few at the top that have no relation whatsoever to the research. Their job is to increase profits. That’s the job. And to follow regulations set by congressmen that they tip in their favor with legal bribes.
He didn’t make a difference through the immediate effects of his action, but he republicized the wrongness of the American healthcare system to a new generation, and the fact that the other side is the one that is creating and adjusting new, more fucked up regulations. He became a symbol to a hell of a lot more than his cult you minimize him to.

Atlas shrugged off idiots trying to mooch off technological gain that made VALUE that was worth money. The fuck are you shrugging off?
I agree with what I can understand, but I don’t have much expertise in the tech specifics. I’m still working on configuring my Linux desktop, just got a little obsessive about keyboard shortcuts and eMacs orgmode and very busy with working outside of tech.
