The Gregarious Dragon
Gay blind dragon in middle age, roosting in the PNW. Apple/Linux fan who sometimes tinkers with tech/coding. Audiobooks, podcasts, and retro media from the 1970s–to the early 2000s are my jam. Enjoy good food, drink plus laughter with friends, and a little cannabis to keep the flames mellow. If you would like to chat with me, I can be reached via Matrix or XMPP.

3·10 天前I’m familiar with XMPP… I’ve experimented with the latest version of Prosody and Monal as a client before, but since my personal domain ends in .us, it’s probably not the best option to use to host a server.

3·10 天前Well, there goes one of my favorite alternatives to WhatsApp… Looks like I’ll need to find a replacement.

I’m a bit of a stickler when it comes to making sure any XMPP server fully supports the full XMPP spec, especially since I’ve had the chance to experiment with a fully compliant server I set up myself.
