I wasn’t seeing that, but I managed to find out why it wasn’t working. Turns out PSCX2 thought I wasn’t logged in to retro achievements, even though I was. But logging out and back in fixed it

Update: I managed to find and fix my issue. Turns out PSCX2 thought I wasn’t logged in, even though I was. So I logged out and back in again and it sorted itself.

I found it out by opening PSCX2 directly, going to Tools > enable log window. Then I launched the game and looked at the log window and saw a section starting with the word Achievements, and it said something along the lines of “skipping check as we’re not logged in”.

Hopefully this will be some help to someone in the future!

Todd Howard should have been cut loose ages ago, like after Skyrim

I remember reading something ages ago about Todd. Apparently he has all of these big ideas, some of which are just not practical. He needed someone to keep him in check so things didn’t go off the rails. I believe that person either left or was let go at some point, so now Todd is just surrounded by yes men, never telling him when one of his ideas is bad. So we end up in this situation with Bethesda the way it is. Not saying that’s the only reason of course, but I believe it’s a contributing factor

I had a plush of him when I was growing up, his tail was so long! I still have no idea who he is though 😅

Can we still use our old saves in 1.0? I kinda want to start a new game but I’m so used to flying around on my jetdragon, I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to walking everywhere! It’ll take quite a while before I’ll be able to craft the item you need to ride them if I start over

I feel like the thing with the PS5 faceplates was bs. They’re just solid colour plastic. But the companion cube one I can understand, as that it was using the design of a “character”(?) that Valve owns without permission

I haven’t heard of Fallen London, but I think things like that are pretty cool. Gets the community working together to find it
