1·3 months agoI usually ride through Aro valley, but I’ve done a circuit of Mt Vic a few times.
Most of the MTB tracks are new tracks, so I’m not sure what everyone is moaning about.

Also, tramping attracts some absolute nutters, I’ve met a few over the years.

1·11 months agoHelicopters can autorotate, meaning fly without power, and the Jetranger from my understanding has quite good autorotation characteristics.
If this was simply a power failure, they should have been able to land just fine.

23·11 months agoThis was an extremely high hour machine, 13,000 on the airframe and 26,000 on the engine. Not sure if that’s significant, but it’s definitely interesting.
I don’t even think of Cadbury as chocolate anymore.
