Proton CEO endorsed Trump. Proton’s stance has always been against Big Tech and how Big Tech is bad and that’s all well and good. But, it’s contradicting when you praise or endorse an administration that’s more than likely going to let Big Tech roll over everyone.
ProtonMail was the GMail alternative for awhile, until Proton CEO did a stupid move. Otherwise, ProtonMail had actually been a great service and it was nice having a data cap of 500MB. It told me that was all I ever needed for the few years I had with it.

Not really. If you focus purely on just searching, yeah DDG is decent. But, I find its maps inferior and trying to find answers to some questions can get tedious. DDG I guess is just for people who want guilt-free searching.
Unfortunately in America, all and any retail bows to the wills of stupid fucking entitled customers. If it was my way, I’d allow at least a two limit outburst per week if I was managing a store chain. Don’t hit them, don’t do any harm, just express yourself and tell them how it is.

Because they want to feel involved. They want to be with the in-crowd. If they come to the Fediverse, then they’ll think it’s weird and might scare them because it’s a new concept they can’t grasp. When really, I see the Fediverse as just a social media reset. But because it doesn’t have all of the enshittification that centralized social media has, they don’t dare bother.

I haven’t dated in 2 years going 3 but that is simply because there’s too much going around me internally and externally to where I simply can’t afford a relationship. A relationship is starting to seem like a luxury of its own, in a way of like investing into it. If you don’t have anything in order in your life, why should you get into one? Because once you’re in a relationship, you are always spending in some form. Spending money or time or both, usually both.
Just try to avoid potential partners that want to date you because you’re succeeding in whatever career you pursue, because success can attract moochers and that’s something you don’t want that’ll bring things down. There are some people out there that do find people who’re focusing on careers or goals attractive and may want that since they’re also doing the same thing. Maybe that’s your type.
If the Fediverse can avoid one big problem with other social media platforms and that is having a power-tripping owner destroy it. If any of the Fediverse platforms can avoid that one thing and manage to keep it’s values in check, then it’s no contest to avoid the other social media platforms.

I don’t know. I think security today, has been awfully abused because I really don’t see for example, why the fuck Google needs my street address to “feel secure”. It’s small things like that, that really make you question.
