That Gerard way show, umbrella academy.
Or if you go further back, its from an episode of Malcolm in the middle

When I wash dishes if there’s a lot, I rinse them and take them out, organize em by type on the counter. Then I get my sponge and grave one by one and scrub them and place them in the sink. When the sink vets crowded I rinse those off.
If its a medium pile I scrub them and put them on the counter until I feel I’ve done enough and the rinse them off

11·5 days agoI just remember someone trying to explain in past probably on Lemmy, how the percentage is just a part of a area, not like 40% across the whole map just 40% chance it might rain in this one spot or something like that
I’m concerned why you love it so much
This is why I like my dual level countertop air fry/oven. Just line the pans in aluminum foil, oil, toss some protein on the bottom tray and some potato’s and veggies on the top and hit bake. Then wash the cutting board etc and it beeps that its done and straight onto a plate, gtap the foil and toss it if it’s too dirty and the pans are nice and clan

Yeah its supposed to be a cheaper way to stay but I’d rather pay a little bit more for the structure, show up check in at the desk, then just leave when you’re ready. If I want cheaper travel I’d rather just camp

Nintendo@lemmy.world•Nintendo reports a full 38.5% of its sales are still physical in the wake of Sony abandoning discsEnglish
2·7 days agoThey probably want to switch to subscription and digital only as well eventually, with their NSO NSO+ and NSO++. Think of the profit margin for the quarter when they remove all physical product and lay everyone off.
For a while I kept getting a phone call around like 8am while I was at work id just let it ring because it was so bizarre. Finally one time I decided to just one word text back saying they had the wrong number at like around 4am and finally got a response saying it was some uncle my mom had given my number to for him to get in contact with her for some reason
What do people do with so much energy
I just got a text from my cell service saying they changed the terms of service, and I agree if I continue to use the service and privacy notive. Not even an agree button anymore just a FYI

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Things Drivers Have Sacrificed for KidsEnglish
3·10 days agoI was going to mention that none of the streets have changed where my parents live from when I grew up but it does seem much sketchier. There’s more roaming homeless people from nearby freeway encampments, and cars appear to drive more dangerously or the drivers are distracted with their phones
I run a USB to Ethernet adapter from my PC to living room TV along with a optical HDMI cable, I even have a second HDMI for when I want to run a second portable monitor on the couch arm rest for notes and stuff
