Ugh, we pirate almost everything and I use ReVanced on my phone. But my mom (the one who STARTED the pirating on the Firestick) likes to watch YT as her TV (understandable), but won’t let me download SmartTube and have her login to it because she’s afraid of smth I guess (like getting her account banned for being detected using it). I’ve been using ReVanced YT music on my OG account for like a solid year now, and (including the OG account) two accounts on regular YT. Never got any sort of ban or suspension.
I tell her “well then use SmartTube logged out,” but she responds, “But I want to have my suggestions/recommendations,” which is kind of understandable, sometimes I want recs too. But having to watch 2-3 ads per 10 min section of a hour long video? Nope, absolutely not. I keep saying to her, “I can’t believe you choose to live like this,” and she just brushes me off.
You guys are still seeing commercials?

Might be worth paying for premium YouTube via Indian proxy for people like that.
