    So how far goes tipping in the USA now? Supermarkets? You go get your driving license and they ask a tip? The landlord wants a tip for collecting rent? You can tip the red light so it turns green earlier?

      There are automated kiosks that ask for tips now. Seriously, I wish that was a joke.

        If that continues like this, customers are going to demand a tip for not making a scene and the circle is complete

      Grocery store baggers used to take your groceries to your car for you and it was customary to tip. I don’t know if that happens anymore. You’re often expected to ring up and bag your own groceries now.
