Yeah it’s kind of crazy. I’m not a software engineer but my friends who are, feel like they’re absolutely screwed. Spotify laid off 2500 people in Stockholm last year so there’s insane competition for all jobs that do come out now.

The dumbest part of it is that AI means we need more engineers, not fewer. But it will take some time for the industry to figure that out.
