This week has gone by so slow. My cat caught my house on fire on Saturday and I’ve been dealing with the aftermath since. I’m fine as are my pets and my home is still habitable, part of my kitchen just got a lil crispy. It’s been one of the most stressful experiences of my life. My fire alarms didn’t go off and I woke up choking on smoke. I got lucky. I could have just died instead of choked.

Life pro tip: make sure your pets can’t turn on your stove. Get covers or clips for the knobs to animal-proof them.

And next week we get to lose an hour of sleep (at least in most of the US). Woohoo
