There’s a resident pair of these beautiful Black and White Owls that roost inside this beautiful forest. I see them every time I visit here. They’re not always in the same place, but with some persistence you can find them. Felt really accomplished after catching this one exactly at the right moment. Eyes started to open, some preening and then a big ol stretch. Hope you enjoy this image. Shot was taken at Bogarin Trail in La Fortuna, Costa Rica
