i have not said that. also, the thinking of the people is not relevant here, the result is.
Bravery does exist.
it does exist, but going on a suicide mission that is not going to change anything is not bravery. it is useless.
There are people willing to risk their lives for their ideals without being selfish and proud about it. It’s not always main character syndrome just because you’re unable to imagine any other explanation.
yes, it is. there are only two possible outcomes. either your death for the cause does not change anything, and then why would you decide to suicide in the first place?
or you think you are so important that your death will change things, and if you think that, you are just delusional. i am not trying to be asshole here, i am being realistic. if the fucking pope decided to visit there and they would accidentally bomb him to sto’vo’kor, they would say “oops, that was unfortunate” and people would mourn for a week, before things would go right back to where they were before.
Ok, I think I understand. You’re thinking of it as a mission with a result that is quite sure - death. I don’t think Greta thinks about it this way and even I don’t think about it this way. I see it as a mission with several possible outcomes, that is very dangerous amd can result in death, but it’s not the only way it can end. The fact we’re talking about it here is a good result already.
