Just seems like its adversarial media/hollywood makes fun of politics and people the whomever pokes back all in jest. Now it seems the joke taking or whatever has become serious and dangerous in tone. How did that become so? I can only think of McCarthism when it started.
Artistic communities almost always lean left. Hollywood and Media are artistic pursuits.
Conservative/right wing people don’t get much support or traction in artistic communities.

Since caring about other people became a liberal idea, not been able to pinpoint exactly when that started but wow.
I think we see more liberal actors and athletes because many of them weren’t born into luxury. Many were just regular people who understand the struggle because they lived it before they got big.
Even the nepo-babies raised in Hollywood, probably learned their values from their parents and lean more left.
Republicans have been vilifying “the others” for decades, whoever it is. Immigrants, communists, people of color, secret cabals of pedophiles, there’s always a boogie man to blame.
Hollywood is composed of upper class Californians. It would be surprising if they weren’t lefty.

Art in all forms, everywhere, throughout history leaned left.
