But, holy shit. War related to the control of oil resources that build profits for the military industrial complex of the US. What part of that is not in American capitalist interest? This is American foreign policy 101. The only difference is that the current president is even dumber than last time.
The idea that Jews and Israel are one in the same is a Zionist narrative. It’s weird to see the same anti Zionist fall for the all of the white supremacist, like Tucker Carlson, narratives that basically just replace “Jew” with “Israel” and then use that for a scapegoat. Protected by “I’m not saying all Jews”.

It’s kinda difficult to see how this war is going to end in a way that will actually let the US control Iran’s oil resources. The US government seems quite unwilling to put boots on the ground, and without that the result mostly seems to be that Iran proves that you can’t just bomb a reasonably large and industrialized country into submission that easily.
My working hypothesis these days is that Trump mostly does things to game the financial markets and to make donors richer (military industry is definitely happy about shooting a bunch of bombs and missiles).
Agreed. And it’s not as much about “for oil”, as in, literally stealing the oil supply. It’s more about oil markets and an attempt to hurt Chinese supply from Iran.
