I don’t see why he said “come again?” except to set up the innuendo and ‘punchline’. Didn’t set him up to be hard of hearing. Is the lady character normally someone who demands to be heard or never takes back what she’s said?

Edit: also, the last time they had pizza was the night he impregnated her? Is that they insinuation? Because that’s a long time to not have pizza, especially if you have kids.
