Honestly YouTube is the one I use most and provides the most value to me personally. I know it’s terrible that it’s Google and all but I just can’t give it up. I browse on peertube about once a week to try it but it’s really not the same. Lemmy is the best free social media tho.
I technically agree. But youtube isn’t much of a “social” medium.
I feel the same way. Peertube is great, but without a larger audience it doesn’t seem to be evolving into something more
The problem is finding content, we really need to figure out personalised algorithms so you don’t have to search for a needle in a hay stack to find even a single good video.
Lemmy because it doesn’t try to extract as much money from us as possible or make us a product.
Any that haven’t been infected by billionaires
Any that can’t be owned by those with money to burn. That is the best, for now…
