The North of USA is similar southern Europe, and south of USA is similar to the middle east.
This means that solar panels are working at capacity much more of the time in USA than in Europe, and that USA does not have 3 months per year where the panels only yield very little, which must then be compensated from other sources. So solar is both more efficient and more reliable through the seasons in USA than for Europe.So there is absolutely potential to expand solar more and faster in USA.
