It probably shouldn’t irk me, but every time someone told me something was “a powerful tool” I immediately doubted whatever product it was they were talking about.
To me it meant I don’t know enough about the product to explain what it does well or it doesn’t have enough features that I have to fill this sentence with jargon instead of a useful feature.
