For some people, the new American Dream is NOT to live there. Up to 9 million US citizens are estimated to be living abroad, but the true number may be much higher. Where are Americans moving? Everywhere - but especially to Europe. The number of US citizens living in European countries has more than doubled in the past year. I explain why in this video, along with the real impacts of so many Americans in Europe, and what I predict will happen next.

This video is from a person who makes a living out of helping people relocate. So take what she says with a grain of salt. But I found the information she gives interesting.

Had someone move into town because that’s what the ‘relocation specialist’ sold her on.

Never even knew that was a thing.

I emigrated all on my own 25 years ago. It really wasn’t a walk in the park and I made mistakes along the way (but learned from my mistakes too). In retrospect, I could have used a professional’s help with all this.

I wish my bf would even consider trying to live anywhere else. I wouldn’t want to live in Europe, but somewhere laid back with warm weather.

Plenty of places like that in Europe - as warm and laid back as you want.
      What’s wrong with Europe?

Where is good to live that’s like that? I’ve read Spain has a tight housing market, Italy seems like it’s been having financial problems for decades, you have to be rich to move to Greece, and my bf refuses to even consider Turkey because of the politics, despite most of his friends living there. I can’t think of any other European countries that are what I’d consider warm. I’d like it to be around 30-35C most of the time.

considering Europe is huge, I doubt they know why they don’t like it and have some thought that was told to them about why it’s bad.

to some folk, Europe = 1 country.
