Not all shower thoughts occur in the shower, but they count regardless. You could be chopping carrots or knitting wool socks, and a weird idea just pops into your head.

l would argue that a thought about a shower is also a showerthought.
So as long as the poster is like “This is something l might likely have thought under the shower”, everything is fine!
