Great news! Ember is a great service where I am, it’s allowing me to get rid of my car completely. More of that is what I want to see

With the rising petrol prices bus companies need to decarbonise fast. Ember has been a breathe of fresh air, especially in the highlands - finally some competition!

City buses are all hybrid here in Edinburgh, surely now the time is right to switch properly

For any fleet operators (busses, delivery vans, taxi’s . . ) with petrol prices head to £2 per L . . the ROI of cost savings vs. overnight discounted electricity is just overwhelming. The payback point, even for a $500,000 electric bus, must be less than 24 months. Charging my own EV overnight, on the cheapest Octopus rate . . . costs £4.16. Not a typo . . .£4.16 for 300 miles of range.
