Awrite troops, how are we this week? Easter holidays for many, work was empty today!
Happy Friday!! Was off work today and invited my dad and step mum for some dinner. Made wagyu fillet steak with peppercorn sauce for them and stilton for us. Roasted tomato and red onion, onion rings, chips, corn on the cob and hot honey chantenay carrots on the side! Lemon meringue pie for dessert! No plans for the weekend as the weather isn’t going to be great, so might watch some telly or films!

Ooh, hot honey carrots. I’ve some carrots that need used up, what a great idea! And I used to always be about the peppercorn, but these days for a filet/rib-eye: I let the steak do the talking. Rump still gets the peppercorn though, might have to go for that this week
I love a blue cheese so i just melt some stilton on top of the steak! My carrots were a little too al dente for my liking but they were nice enough!! Hot honey was delish!!

Getting together woth folks for an Easter lunch regardless of the fact that none of us actually observe Easter. Besides being sous-chef, I’m making some lao gan ma monkey bread to bring along
I want to find some time and energy for something creative this weekend. It’ll have to be Saturday given that Sunday is booked up, so I’d better start thinking of what I want to do to give myself the best chance
Also I am going to post something on the Gàidhlig community this evening, because I have failed to do so in the rest of the week
How about a poem? Take something you work with, and write some lines about it. Or sone sketching? I’m a terrible artist in general, but practice helps. Or some musical instruments? Singing and playing guitar is always fun
Poetry is one of those things that I want to be better at, but I have so little reference of actually reading poetry. I mostly want to learn about it so that I can write decent song lyrics, but that then puts me a lot of separate steps away from my goal. Guitar is indeed where I went, though! Got a good filthy tone on my 7 string and figured out the synth part of a Carpenter Brut song

Been for a swim, watching some Artemis coverage next with my homemade curry, braw stuff! Have to say, I’m excited to see them go round the moon, I’m such a nerd.
Crazy weather this weekend so I’m gonna have a lazy day tomorrow, play some pool with mates in the evening. I’m pants though, will need to watch some youtube for some tips. Then Sunday lots of wholesome family easter activities, eggs and such like with a roast leg of lamb fer dinner, yum
