I’ve been looking for a job for 6+ months now. I look forward to only being miserable… Poor and miserable while having the soul crushing task of applying to a job to be miserable is too much.

All good. Trying to enjoy the time off. Thx tho. Will find out this week if I move on to stage 2 of the only interview I got in the last 6 months. Tech sucks right now.

I just wish that anyone without a job wasn’t at risk of losing the place they live. That’s my biggest fear in life. I was homeless for 2 weeks 10+ years ago… Never again.

Left one should be “not having money”. I wouldn’t miss not having a job at all, but not having money becomes problematic very quickly.

Not having a job was far far better somehow, because you don’t get your ass ripped into for things that straight up would go against physics, while being blackmailed to stay by threat of never finding employment again.
