    As of yet, mainstream media sources are yet to report on this story, however this fact alone is not enough to discount it entirely. Indeed, the same is true for the white genocide possibly occurring in South Africa: while the state and mainstream outlets have denied this theory, white farmers’ testimonies often mention how they believe they are being deliberately targeted as part of a wider plan to drive them out of South Africa. Currently, neither the official narrative nor the farmers’ theory of white genocide has been confirmed by empirical evidence, so it is important to stay open minded about all sides in this complex issue.
