Renault rarely made it to the US.
They had a short run in the 80’s, and were worse than just about any other shitty car.
Can’t give me a Renault - they’re garbage. Actually worse than a Chrysler, and that’s saying something.
163 mile range. Fast charges about the same rate as a previous generation Bolt. You could buy a used EV for around the same price and get almost 100 miles more range.

Sure and that’s cool. Imagine how cheap these will be used in a few years. I don’t own a car so it’s 163 miles further than I can go by car right now.
Looks like it would probably be fine for most Europeans, but for anyone in the Americas (North, Central, and South) or Africa or much of Asia (anywhere that is even slightly rural, really), this isn’t likely to be a good choice. Unless you live in a really dense city like New York, maybe. But in those cities you can probably just walk instead, since housing tends to be pretty close to employment in those cities.
