I’ve done the same and have the seen the bootloader get changed in a way that prevented one or the other from booting.
The risk is there.

For $100 it works surprisingly well, much better than I expected.

Which would be a hardware bug.

Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee

“But only a couple”
I mean what’s a king to do?!

Not very.
A friend would look for them on walks and come back with several every time.
You really just need the right cord for 99% of devices using a power supply.
Hell, stuff I buy in the US these days often comes with a changeable plug right on the power supply itself, with both a US and EU adapter in the box.
The original reason for both plug type and PAL was simply different electrical systems.
Plug type ensured you didn’t plug a 110v appliance into a 220 system, which could be dangerous to the person.
PAL vs NTSC was really just because PAL came after NTSC and attempted to fix some of the color issues in NTSC, but also had to work on a completely different electrical system - and both relied on timing elements within that electrical system.
It wasn’t “lock in”, it started because the two electrical systems were very different (even the prior black-and-white systems were very different for the same reason, 220v at 50hz vs 120v at 60hz). This frequency difference means different timing mechanisms and even alters the number of scan lines.

I’d be concerned the case will rub on the fixative layer.
I don’t have an answer, just something to consider.
Maybe after the fixatine, a thin layer of plastic, similar to screen protector. Then the case.

Wasn’t he the one who killed a couple wives?
I’m fine with alcohol killing me slowly.
How about we talk about all the “preventive medicine” drugs where doctors ignore or severely downplay the risks, like BP meds?
On average, 33 people need to be treated for 5 years (that’s 65,000 doses) to prevent one cardiac event… That doesn’t seem very effective.
Oh, and along the way, there will be 3/4 of a kidney failure in that group, some induced arrhythmias, lots of disrupted sleep, electrolyte imbalance, instances of ortho static hypotension, etc, etc.
The medical community is finally starting to recognize the major impact of sleep disruption on cardiovascular health, so…

Hahaha, got a snort out of me!

In the range I’ve always worn double, though that only provides incremental increase in protection.
With double, I barely notice any typical round - it really is just background noise, though you can feel the pressure in your chest.
But something like a DE? Holy hell that was something else. WOOMP! I think you really feel even that more than you hear it.
This article seems like a tempest in a teapot.

Lol, right?
And here I sit with my $100 DeLonghi espresso machine, where monthly I have to burn the microfilter clean with a pocket torch.

Wish I could quadriple upvote this.

Meh, would work better with a beach.
When I think Nevada I don’t think sand, just western arid spaces, Sin City, gambling.

As I said in the other post, don’t be disingenuous with the summer/winter photos.
Also any commercial construction would look like this - warehouse, UPS shipping center, shopping center. Hell, a shopping center would be far worse.

Ooh, ye Olde white box!

I’ve taken to using window air conditioner filter material on all my boxes. Cut it to fit the intake and even taping over other intakes to ensure the air path is through the filter.
I hold it to the case with small neodymkum magnets. Once a month I rinse it out and put it back on. Case stays much cleaner inside.
Yea, comparatively empty is a good description.
If you’ve ever been up and down the east coast, it’s pretty apparent. Population density just plummets once you hit Richmond (heading south) and really stays low until you reach central/southern Florida.
If you drive westward towards the Appalachians in those states, you see a lot of farmland and forest.
It’s a beautiful thing.
