I doubt it, mass shooters are predominantly right wing white men — you know, the types that absolutely would not be medicated anyway.

I’m inclined to believe that people with unmedicated mental illness in households filled with love and understanding will be wildly different from those in households filled with hate and ignorance.

That isn’t to say that someone with unmedicated/undiagnosed mental illness in a home filled with love won’t become violent, just that one will spur someone on to violence whereas the other won’t (at least that’s what I think, obviously violence is a trait many people come by naturally).

mental illness and instability doesn’t care what kind of environment you live in.

if your brain decides to flood your body with cortisol and your heart dumps in adrenaline, you’re going to become violent because your senses, and your brain, identifies everything as a threat which triggers fight or flight.

Well let’s see: heroin is categorized as Schedule I meaning maximally addictive with no therapeutic benefit, and…

All anti-depressants are not Scheduled at all meaning they have zero addiction potential. And meta-analyses show they do have therapeutic potential.

What good is a representative democracy when these are our representatives?
