Who could have known. You let prices explode for some speculatory bubble and you suddenly find out what the concept of demand destruction is all about.
I built some funny custom PCs based on SOC systems, one of the Strix Halo. Just in time last year before things went crazy. I plan to make myself comfortable with those systems (Strix Halo for demanding tasks and the 760m based Mini PC for everything else)
Well, guess I am not in that 60%.
But then again, I don’t need new RAM for it. Everything other than the motherboard is already there and I can use an old ATI Radeon for the display. Is that weird? I built my pc somewhere 5-10 years ago and it’s still going strong so why would I pay for anything new? My loading times are not the slowest of my friends when playing multiplayer games, and singleplayer games I play on my deck mostly anyway.
