That animation has what I would call a retro design to it. Is this more true to the manga? I think this looks better than that last netflix series honestly. Also, is this a reboot?
Yes I think the style is closer to the manga compared to the previous anime series.
The official site call this “the newest work in the series”, but the trailer refers to the puppeteer which is from the 1st manga. It is possibly a reboot but I did not follow the news too closely to be sure.
Man, my memory. I had read that it featured the puppeteer and that had slipped my mind.
Something to look forward to. I hope it is as good as I think it the trailer shows.

I haven’t watched it in a while and I am not sure if I want to “spoilers” by watching the original again lol.
I hate trailers that are cut with so many tiny clips in such a short video. Barely gives any time to know what is happening before they are off to the next clip.
