I mean either quitting on the spot, or deciding not to continue with the training or application process

I was laid off in October as part of a restructuring. I knew it was coming months in advance – so when the big day came, I had all of my assets and IP that I had ever built over the last 3 years, already saved on a cloud server. I also purged anything that was unfinished, backed up, or otherwise legally mine to remove because it was not a current project or asset. When I was given my push out the door, I informed them I had already cleaned up any messes left behind, to ensure a smooth, clean space to transition for the new designer responsible for all learning content within the org. They didn’t say anything for about 2 minutes. Then the call ended. It was the single most satisfying departure I’ve ever felt, and to this day I talk shit on social media directly to them, and they can’t do anything about it. I also got a little severance for not quitting first, so added bonus for patience I guess.

I don’t know. Fred Meyer was a bit of a disaster. I would work, and they’d constantly play music. I would want it to stop, but apparently they couldn’t. The music was part of a central radio that connected all the Fred Meyers at once and would influence people’s mood in the store. It was licensed music (Billboard hits, like classic rock and modern pop) made so the store didn’t seem empty. Another thing with Fred Meyer was that I had to sign in with an account specifically for the store. It was my imperative as an employee to keep this account secret and make sure not to spread it to anyone. This was for these training videos and quizzes that I just want to forget, done with GoAnimate. I want to tell you all about it but I am not sure where to put it.

'Ran out from a Raising Canes after two days. Fill guilty about it- for my would-be co-workers only though.
