Mine like the one pictured would be uninstallable on demand , but a massive pain in the ass. I’d probably install it and see if they bring it up. Sort of depends on the landlord and how desperate you are to stay there. IMO knowing nothing of your situation its worth it.
Be warned all other non bidet bathrooms will now be unpleasant.
They come in to the apartment like 4 times a year maybe for alarm / leak checks. Guess I could just uninstall it every time
