It’s extremely frustrating and disheartening to see how the genocide in palestine has been turned into this meaningless idpol qualifier, it’s not about materially helping the people of Palestine, it’s just “my little man insert celebrity name said the word genocide” and that’s all that seemingly counts now. Another ongoing tragedy turned into a worthless gimmick, there is not a single solution offered within the realm of electoralism, justice has been murdered together with the innocents.

Everyone in art spaces is obsessed with anointing themselves as a divine well of intellectual property, which they think will amount to resistance (if they can achieve it by talking about it a lot) to the “technocapitalists” which I believe is a term used to dilute comparisons to the historical progression of industrial/finance capital, which can easily be studied by opening a few books, instead of gluing your eyes to an evil flashlight all day. It’s the same thing as the people who see finance capital as a parasitic force on industrial capitalists & the white working class, instead of those same industrialists behaving like bankers to keep raking it in, using their workers as part of their equity pool. People obsess over outsourcing & their inability to attain the asset holdings their parents did, but their only solution is to ask nicely for the same brittle deals, or join pyramid schemes. Pretty depressing.
