Bought an active 25ft displayport cable for 2K@160 and now I can shove my PC into the closet and forget about it
The jet engine (during BG3) now has a muffler xD (Yes, IK I need to set fan curves)

Yep, same. I’ve put the big rig in the basement and am using it from a thin client with Sunshine/Moonlight (although I have been informed, that there are evolutionary implementations of that pair).
I tried using steam to remote play and it’s ass. Can this work fine on wifi?
It’s best if at least one is wired IMO. But it is more performant than steam’s streaming solution
Spill them beans, please!
I use Apollo + Moonlight. Apollo ships with a virtual display so I don’t have to have anything connected to the PC in the rack
Yes, that is something I still have to solve with a dummy HDMI plug.
Oh, cool, I didn’t realize you’d have to have a monitor to stream the games with Sunshine. But of course you do, as I need to with my Steam Link.
That’s a smart solution, the virtual display. Sunshine should really have that also. Makes no sense to have to have a monitor showing the image in another room, just having the opposite wall watch you play games.
