    Prison seems a bit much for the officer, but I think loosing their job and some compensation for the victim is warranted.

    border agents repeatedly demanded access to his phone and told him they did not need a warrant.

    The US is lawless, so the Constitution does not matter, but without a warrant they had no legal claim whatsoever to the phone or its contents.

    What makes this worse is that a lower standard applies to manual searches, allowing the government to conduct extraordinarily invasive electronic device searches without any suspicion of wrongdoing, simply because the border officer chooses to search by hand rather than with a forensic tool.

          Depends on how free you want to be. Certainly isn’t enough for freedom ultra, but you might get into the freedom pro or even the freedom max plans
