Egypt has said that achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East depends on ending the Israeli occupation and establishing an independent, sovereign Palestinian state along the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution.

      Considering how Israel treats most of its neighbours, I’m not sure Egypt wants to kick that wasp nest. And no country wants to take in lots of refugees if avoidable… Specially an already unstable country like Egypt.

        I am not saying they should allow ten thousands of Palestinians enter the country as refugees , I am talking about opening it up to transfer aids to Gaza without israel approval. Israel is struggling in Lebanon against Hezbollah. Israel is not stupid enough to start a war with Egypt right now they always go after the weak
