    Interesting thought:

I wonder if humans evolved on a planet with a shitty little moon like this, what would it have done to our views of the heavens? This moon is clearly just an object. It looks like what it is, a rock in space. No one is going to look at this and think that the heavens contain magic and wonders and gods, they would look at this and thing it contains rocks.

We just happened to have a sun that’s 400 times larger and 400 times farther away than our moon, so they appear to have the same significance from our perspective.

I don’t have evidence to back this up, but I don’t think the sun looks that dull to the naked eye from Mars, I think these images were made carefully to show the shape of the moon clearly (with filters etc). If humans evolved on Mars we probably would never have even noticed eclipses were happening unless we eventually used technology to look closely at the sun.

It’s because the earth’s moon is hollow; created and inhabited by reptilians, at the behest of the illuminati. It is purposely seemingly the exact same size as the sun bc reasons.

not wrong though, we are lucky that the apparent sizes of the moon and sun are as close as they are on Earth :D

And lucky to live in the time when they are. The moon is moving away from the Earth slowly, and eventually they won’t look to be the same relative size

Here’s a nice twofold question: what is the closest stable orbit that could produce a total eclipse on Mars? And how small would an object in that orbit then need to be, to produce that eclipse?

It’s already at the lowest orbit it can be, which will eventually fall into Mars in 40myears.
