Overall popularity of Spider-Man (and related properties), Tom Holland, and the 3rd movie in this franchise was the highest grossing film of 2021. Good reviews generally a sign that people will show up for the sequel.
Me too. NWH, while clever on first viewing, falls apart when you analyse “but why was Dr Strange not being careful? Why is he being so shambolic at spell casting?”
It’s like it was a machination to take spiderman away from the high tech and high comfort position so that he can be a more typical spiderman. I didn’t mind that he was a Stark Enterprises croney-baby; i think people just want to find something to critique.
What we have now is so much better though. The character is in the perfect place.

Just rewatched NWH last night. Honestly it probably is the best Spider-Man movie ever made (haven’t seen BND yet) imo.
