I made him wait three whole hours before I went to bed. He was ready at 7:30 but I was not. (I know, I’m an awful dog mom lol) He spent those three hours staring at the steps longingly.
Lil dude is the ranked competitive sleep world champ.
He has a fancy dog bed and an entire recliner to sleep on in the living room, but he just wanted to be in my bed with me holding him. His fave way to cuddle is to be little spoon. I call it baby spoon because he’s my baby. He likes it so much, that he knows the command “be baby spoon”.
He’s so great. And dramatic. And just an all around 100000% USDA certified good boy.

He really is and knows it! He gets so much attention any time we go somewhere. He likes going to the vet because he is one of their faves. He’ll have like all the techs just swarm him and give him attention and he adores it.
Beagle mix? They can be so mischievous and so darned lovey and cute at the same time 😭
He’s 100% beagle, actually. He was advertised at the shelter as a coonhound puppy, but he wasn’t growing or teething. Got a DNA test and he is all beagle. The ironic/funny part is that I was actively avoiding beagles when looking for a dog to adopt.
I didn’t even know beagles came in bluetick lol. A lot of people think he’s still a puppy because he looks so much like a coonhound, but he’s 4 lol.
He and I bonded immediately upon meeting and he’s been my sweet little baby beagle boi ever since lol
