wtf why?!
To combat bacterial infections. No seriously that is the research that happened, and the research actually has results (all still academic and such but point is the AI worked in this situation.)
AI has gained such bad rep, but it’s actually incredibly useful in science. We’re not talking about chat gpt here.
They need investors… anyone
