Even if I am reborn. Without the same memories, experiences, and thoughts, how can I be me?

Likely my experiences and memories make me me. If right now that got erased, no matter the same appearance or same body, I will never be me. Right?

    I mean. It likely is. Like the rest of religious and supernatural mumbo jumbo. don’t get me wrong I like buddhism as a philosophy but once you get into rebirth and all its pointless. As you point out if it is true it is not functionally different than dying and going no where anyone. If your ego and memories die. you die.
